    • Important information on quotas for schools:

    To encourage participation by students in grades 1 to 6, we have implemented the following limits on the number of projects from schools:

    • Schools covering Grade 9 to Grade 12 will be allowed a total of 10 projects across all grades / campuses.

    • Schools covering K to Grade 12 will be allowed a total of 10 projects across all grades / campuses.

    • Each K-8 school will be allowed up to 8 projects, with the restriction that no more than 5 may come from grades 7 and 8.

    • Schools covering only grades 7 and 8 will be allowed up to 5 projects.

    • Schools covering only K-6 will be allowed up to 6 projects.

    Who may participate:

    Participants must live in the 'new' City of Toronto (previously known as Metropolitan Toronto, with postal codes beginning with the letter 'M') or attend and represent a school in the 'new' City of Toronto. Students living outside Toronto should contact their local regional science fair organization.
